Testing cardboard boxes

Cardboard boxes are crucial in packaging for shipping and storage. Manufacturers need to know their precise weight-bearing capacity to reduce material waste, as boxes vary in thickness and compressive strength.

To address this, common tests like bursting strength, edge crush tests, box compression tests, and puncture resistance assessments are conducted. For testing larger corrugated boxes, the need for spacious compression plates arises.
